Anna-Lille Dupont-Crabtree

I’m an artist and illustrator based in Norwich, UK.
I am interested in exploring the link between art and ecology and how artists can help us rethink our connections
to the living world and to non-human beings. I believe that in the wider context of the ecological crisis, we must find
ways of reconnecting our sensibility and empathy to nature and all beings.

I also really like birds! Since I’ve started paying them more attention, they have opened up a whole new dimension
to me. I have become more curious, I listen more; I can recognize bird songs amongst the hubbub of the city cars
and noises... I look and search more; I can see them flutter in between buildings. Noticing birds has added an extra
layer to my life and they are forever inspiring me new characters for my drawings.

My drawings are playful, accessible to everyone (if I say so myself).
Children, young adults and old old adults can appreciate them because they are humoristic but depict real, common
feelings that we can all relate to.

I am open to commissions, please get in touch if you’d like to collaborate on a project.
