Matter Out of Place - Chasing Cow

I was commissioned in March 2021 to create a double page for the art zine
Matter Out of Place by the collective Chasing Cow. This was during the second lockdown,
which is also when I became fascinated by the birds that were visiting my balcony,
that I started to feed. They inspired me for this piece.
Life is short and time is swift
I was commissioned again in August 2022 to create a new piece for Matter Out of Place.
The end of the summer signifies the start of swifts’ migration. These incredible birds are on the UK’s red list
of birds going extinct, so with this piece, I hope to raise awareness on the subject and encourage their protection.
